Ready to notarize?

Here are the three basics things to consider before meeting with a California Notary Public

  1. Valid Identification for each document signer.

The most common form of identification is a valid state driver's license, state identification card, or a country passport. But if you do not have one of these, do not worry there are many other forms of identification that you can provide. I have them listed on my website, notarycommander.com. The completed documents need to be sealed.

  2. "Completed" does not mean that they need to be signed before you bring them to me.

Completed means that all of the information being blanks, gaps, x's or checkmarks must be filled in by the document owner before they will be signed and sealed by the notary. A notary public may not notarize any documents that are incomplete.

  3. Payment for Notary Fee Fees will vary, being that fees are based upon the type and number of documents that will be signed and sealed.
